COVID-19 Information

Important Information for the 2021-22 Season

Québec Public Health announced regulations concerning the practice of snow sports this winter. Vaccine passports or proof of full vaccination is required for skiers / boarders and visitors 13 years of age and over accessing Vorlage.

The sanitary measures at Vorlage must be respected at all times, and depending on the ongoing epidemiological situation, those measures may change at any time. At Vorlage, we care about safety for both our clients and employees and your cooperation matters.

If you or someone with whom you have close contact has the slightest sign of COVID-19 (fever, cough, respiratory difficulty), do not come to the ski area, please remain at home and consult public health.

Golden Rules

  • Face coverings are recommended outside and mandatory inside a building
  • Maintain a distance of 1 meter between other guests and employees both inside and out
  • Frequent hand sanitizing

Vaccine Passport

The vaccine passport will be required for those 13 years of age and older, for access to the site, including the lifts and inside buildings. Validation of vaccinations for season passholders and day ticket holders will happen when picking up your RFID pass for the first time. Passholders and those reloading tickets will not have to do it again.

Clients who do not reside in Quebec must provide official proof of vaccination from their province or country along with a photo ID showing residency. A person accompanying a skier will have to show proof of vaccination before being allowed in the buildings.

Face covering

Where indicated below in the various areas, face coverings must be worn. Face coverings may be a procedure mask, a reusable mask, a neck tube, a balaclava, or another fitted piece of clothing covering the mouth and nose. The chosen covering must be made of at least 2 layers of tightly knit material and be large enough to completely cover the mouth and nose. We suggest bringing at least two face coverings (one for outside, one for inside).

Ski Lifts

Face coverings are recommended outside on the ski lifts, loading and unloading and while in lines. A face covering may be a procedure mask, a reusable mask, a neck tube, a balaclava, or another fitted piece of clothing covering the mouth and nose. The chosen covering must be made of at least 2 layers of tightly knit material and be large enough to completely cover the mouth and nose.

The use of the same chairlift by users from the same household is preferred, however, it remains permitted for users not residing in the same household.

Ski Chalet

A 1 meter distance is required, so seating capacity will be limited.

Face coverings are required inside. Removal of the facemask is permitted in the cafeteria and restaurant / bar areas when seated at a table

Personal items may NOT be left in the chalet. You may boot up BUT bring your items back to the vehicle. Lunch bags, clothing or other bags must return to your car. This is due to limited capacity and sanitation of tables.

Daily coin lockers are not available.

Washrooms, food and beverage facilities are available.

We ask that you limit the amount of time in the building so others may enter.

Food & Beverage

The cafeteria, restaurant and bar areas will be open this season. A maximum of 10 people per table or occupants of 3 residences are allowed.

Sorry, but no personal items can be left in the area.

Face coverings are required, except when seated.

Non skiing / riding persons will require proof of vaccination.

Equipment Rentals & Seasonal Lockers

Equipment rentals (both seasonal and daily) are available but must be purchased online. They will be set up and ready for your arrival time. Equipment is disinfected after each use.

Face coverings are mandatory for those 10 years and over.

Seasonal lockers are available this season. Customers must wear face covering inside the building and maintain a 1 meter distance to others. We have installed separate entrance and exit doors.

Snow School

Ski and snowboard lessons are available for online booking – both group and private lessons.

It is recommended that all participants wear a face covering. All instructors will be following safety directives.

The race club will be offering their programs as well.
